This is a simple problem, but it is one that is really anoying me.
My rearview mirror (89 Integra LS) is really loose and on hot days cannot even hold its own weight. I have checked it for a screw or something to tighten but could not find anything.
Just wondering if there was a simple way to tighten it that anyone knows of so that I can use it without haveing to hold it up after everytime I park in the sun.

umm...I think what tegra88 meant is the interior mirror, not the exterior.
anyway, I think its the material expands under the heat. thats why it actually flip itself down.
I think its time for a change to a new one.

yeah I do mean the interior one, I was hoping that that was not going to be the answer though.
Thanks

yeah, cos usually interior mirror comes as a whole assembly. I've never seen any screws or anything to hold and to adjust the mirror.
so yeah, unfortunately. except if anyone knows if there are screws or anything. but I highly doubt it.
