Hi all,

Im new to this forum. Just got my Civic 1.6L (aka FD4, only available for Singapore & Nepal market, using R16A engine) last week.

Heres a pic of my black mazda protege & new white civic on the day when i handed over my car.

sup man! singaporean here as well..

was told that the 1.6L FD is only exclusive to singapore ..and singapore kah motors ( official distributor for honda in singapore ) paid for the RnD to get 1.6L into the FD chassis :thumbsup:

My mazda has been very reliable & has served me well for the past 4yrs++. No problem with this car, didn't even any top-up aircon gas or service the compressor for 4yrs & its still working fine. Sad is that not many protege aftermarket parts available in Singapore. Prior driving this mazda I drove the pre-fl & fl civic EK3 vti, and now im back to civic again ;) Guess my heart still goes to civic...hahah:D

In the owners manual, it stated that 1.6 is only available in Singapore & Nepal but dunoe exactly who paid for the fees.
