dc2r wheels? need suggestions

Hey people Ive had my dc2r for about 18 months and bought it with these ROH 16' rims. Unfortunately the guy I bought it off already got rid of the factory rims. I was wondering what people thought of them.

I dont want to lash out on new wheels/ tyres, so its basically keep these or get a pair of stock rims...

What do people think???

going to look at some stockies today that are apparently in really good nick.... painting black is one option, I'll think about it if I buy them.... have to say though that for stock rims the dc2r enkei's are nice.... if only they were a bit bigger.....

I have never seen them before! They are awesome, and I would love a pair in gunmetal. Unfortunately those are only in white... For $1500 though I might be able to grab some Buddy Club's in 16's. Decisions, decisions.....

thanks rabbit, but I dont like the idea of a red dc2r with white rims, reminds me too much of the 80's... but I like the yellow dc2r with white rims.... anyway thanks again... im still hunting....

if ure tyres are good, get rid of these wheels, and by new set, or go to ttf in sunshine, if its close to you, and trade in ur wheels, pout some cash ontop, and get new wheels and keep ur tyres if your on budget..........

i wouldnt go bigger than 16's and stockies, i wouldnt waste ur time, unless u really want them

dc2r stock rims are a lot lighter and better constructed than a lot of aftermarkets out there as well

did dc5r's ever come out with stock rims apart from white or gunmetal??

ive seen a set that are like a silver alloy colour.... surely honda didnt use different materials, therefore these ones should weigh the same as the dc5r gunmetal or white???

dc5r stockies are nice or have a look at accord euro optional rims the 5x2 spoke ones... spray em white and they look nice!

nothing looks better on a dc2r than the stockies, they look rad coz they are gun metal grey and you can pick em up pretty cheap mate, and if ur worried about money stockies are good to, ull save money on changing tyres coz they aren't some rediculous 19x8.5 fatty...its a good thing Honda have a trend of lookin good with smaller rims, it saves lots of money and it looks rad:thumbsup:

I bought my car with ROH rims as well...they are sh!t. i just purchased a set of stock rims for my car. So it sorta down sized the rims. I found more power, better handling and the car is more responsive. Go stock n burn the ROHs...dont know why people buy them.
