View Full Version : wats the difference between the body of a civic eg4 and eg5?
im about 2 purchase an eg4 for an engine conversion.. and i was wondering if the welding of the body etc.. would be any different to an eg5.. apart from the sunroof etc..

nope but u prolly have to change more things on a eg4 cause its not efi and rear brakes are drums

not efi = wrong. GL is non efi, GLi is efi. Both are EG4.
rear drums = right

isnt an EG4 the GL?
Pretty sure my GL is an EG4.
Not too sure, would have to look at the plate.

mines a eg4 aswell, but has power options. could of been changed though.
Breeze = EG3 Carby + no power options
GL = EG4 Twin Carby + pwoer options
Gli = EFi SOHC + power options

eg4 comes in the gl and gli, like how the ek1 came in cxi and gli, one of each model has power options
