View Full Version : water pump
hey guys i brought a water pump from burson auto parts for my jdm b18c, while doing the timing belt once everything was in place the timing belt was still abit too loose and after further inspection the pully on the new water pump is far smaller than the original one but on the box it says its for a b18c 89 - 99 an the engine is a 97 model, does the jdm version water pump differ to the aussie one cheers guys

same thing. Looks like you got a B16 or b18a/b one. (shorter timing belt)
DO NOT USE THIS WITH YOUR CAR get a proper b18c waterpump

yes its the wrong pump (the b18b has a shorter timing belt so smaller pulley wheel)
GET a b18c water pump !
