Hey Guys,

Yesterday I was bored shitless, so I did some DIY on my Integra yesterday. Things I did were:
- CAI
- Remove rear spoiler
- Change rear number plate lights to LED's

Here's some pics

not bad, be good if you get a polished pipe custom made!! for the cai

dont go driving into big puddle of waters, or gg for you.
water gets into the air filter then in the engine..then you know what..BOOM!

Would be cool if you got stainless steel piping made up as JDM.Power said. That conduit piping would be slowing down your intake flow. It's costly, but much better than the conduit. You may also feel a little delay in response from the extra intake travel.

All the ripples in the piping will probably cause turbulence in the air flow, but hey - what more can you expect from a quick, ghetto mod besides a bit more noise ...and a mad water catcher!?

Nice work. Did removing the wing leave any holes??

Thanks for the +ve comments guys! I'm a little concerned about driving in puddles, but meh....

And yes, it does leave holes in the boot. I just temporarily used rubber grommets from Autobarn and it fills nicely. One concern though, is that the spoiler wiring was 'tapped' into the existing wiring and soldered. Would this mean that the previous owner added the spoiler 'aftermarket' as such? (not exactly good practice by Honda to solder wires lol)

There's nothing wrong with solder, as long as its done correctly and neatly.

I've done a stint at the pre-delivery section of my work and if a customer wants a vehicle with optional extras and the wait is too long for them to come from the factory with the extras - they have to be retrofitted to a car that is already 'in-stock'. This usually always includes tapping into and adding wires etc.
