I'm thinkin' what Blitz is thinkin'...

Cams, less is more in ancillaries.... 14.4 - 14.7...

Depends on tyres and ambient temps...

Are you gonna run it and put us right?

I'm guessing 14.7 to 14.9, if you end up using a semi racing slick i reckon you may be able to get it down to a 14.5 or so. Also depends on how much you strip the car down.

yep, thats sounds pretty right, but of course things are going to vary when it comes to the type of driver, condition of the engine etc....

Just came back from the drags tonight at the Quit Motorplex in Perth. It's my 1st time to the dragstrip in 10 years, last time out in a RWD automatic car.

Did a 14.973 sec, as you can see my reaction time was shocking, 60' and terminal speed not great either. So with a good FF drag driver the car should do a safe 14.7xx sec.

My car's quick specs:

My car is originally an Si with aust spec B16A 107.7kw atw, all interior trim stock and intact on 80% full tank, re001 195 tyres with koni yellow+kings low.

Whats the weight of your car??
I would have thought ITR cams in a B16a ina light EG would be good for mid 14s

nice time... how many kW's did the tune give you? And how much would the B18C7 TB, cams and valve springs cost?

Did you drop the clutch or slip it???

Your 60ft was pretty decent I think!

Interesting that your mph was similar to mine with a stock B16A engine...

107.7kw I got at the dyno, tuned by dynodave

I dumped the clutch at 4-4.5krpm.

for prices for the type r parts, you might want to pm fatboyz39 as I got my stuff from him at the same time as the conversion. The cams and v/springs is a straight swap with mine when the type r cams and v/springs come off from our dc2r when we install the Toda B cams. I found his service was great and prices for the parts more realistic than many in this forum.

OK!! What I meant was, what were your b4 and after fwkW readings come tuning time? Just interested in how many kW the B18C7 stuff made compared to a stockish B16A (90 - 95 fwkW)...

I got those parts installed at the same time as the conversion and car got dyno'd soon after that so the stock setup never even cranked over in my car.
