trying to get my head around all this car audio stuff.

EARTHQUAKE 900W.5 Car Amp 1800w 5 Ch Amplifier Bass.

would this be suitable to run car speakers and Sub off? (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-EARTHQUAKE-900W-5-Car-Amp-1800w-5-Ch-Amplifier-Bass_W0QQitemZ170191149421QQihZ007QQcategoryZ39739 QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD2VQQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p163 8.m122)

or am i still better to get a 4 channel amp and another mono block.

how much is the amp? all converted to aus dollars and shipped

i think you would be better off getting a jaycar monoblock and 4 channel. would be around 500-700 depending on which spec amp you get and would peform better than a 5 channel amp

Ideally separate amps are better but that price without postage (and probably when you consider postage as well) is very cheap...and has decent power output. One amp will make your install a bit easier. The seller has good feedback too which is good.

just though you might want to know, you can run 4 speakers AND a sub off the jaycar 4 x 50.

They dont advertise it though. its in the user manual how to hook it up.

you wont be getting the max outta your system...but you can just hook up a mono when u you get teh funds. the 4x50 has rca through functions as well, meaning hooking up your mono later wont be hard at all.
