Yes, but only as a personal import which means you must have owned and used the car in Japan (or the country being imported from) for more than one year.

Although its a great car its not worth it is it?

Id rather buy an aussie compliant car here and get the extreme tune.

Comes with an LSD, Recaros and a shorter final drive and lighter flywheel. Good enough for me. :)

Remember, power is not everything.

But CL9 got better torque

Only torque at the fly. Not torque at the wheels. :) The shorter final drive compensates for it. Also it's only 223Nm@4500 vs 206Nm@6000rpm. Go for the CL9 if you are not revving it out and not using peak power. I'd prefer the Euro diesel in this case if we could get it (340Nm, but still slower 0-400m than the lower torque CL9). But if you were using all the power of the engine (140kW @ 6800rpm), the CL7 still has faster acceleration.

CL9 0-100 in 7.7sec? i think

7.8 for lux, 7.7 for base/sports

or low 7's if u power shift :p

Personally I'd prefer low end torque for traffic, rather than needing to rev the crapola out of the engine to achieve decent power

Off Topic but,

Which one would be better to import as in cost wise. The JDM type R? or euroR ? i know type R would get more votes on as i would vote on it as well but yeah just asking.

On this topic, I'd just like to say that I have installed a DC5R LSD, shorter final drive and a lightened flywheel.

Will write up a review soon.
