Having just purchased a ITR 99 DC2, i couldnt be happier.

I owned a pretty warm R31 skyline, lots of money spent... and the integra blows it away in basically every aspect of motoring.

The ITR is bloody fast, handles like a slot car, brakes on a dime, is great on fuel, looks great, cheap on rego and the list goes on. I simply love the car and if i had my time again i would have bought a ITR as soon as i could afford one.

They are simply awesome cars and its a pleasure to hop in it and drive it. And its still factory standard!

Im only going to put a exhaust and a j's intake on it, just to give it a nice note and maybe a carbon bonnet. Thats it. I dont really feel the need to change something that was done sooo right from the factory.

The only hassle i have with the car is price of parts and these clowns at the local honda dealer annoy me. Other than that im a happy ITR driver.

Why didnt you guys tell me before! lol Thanks and youll be hearing a lot more from me in the future.

Cheers.

Thanks mate. As much as it pains me to have some clown working on my that isnt me (i did all the work to my skyline minus the computer wiring) I want the stamp in the logbook. Just good for resale, as most likely in the future ill try to get a DC5R. (not for a couple of years though)

Cheers.

You will be dissapointed with DC5R, unless you mod it a fair bit more compared to dc2r

good luck keeping it to zorst... soon enought you'll realise that its "nust as fast as when you first bought it" and "if I change the intake (for the 3rd time) i should be able to sqeeze an extra 3kw out of it... and make Vtec louder at the same time" :p

good to see your enjoying your new car... have fun

Get Injen intake and Buddy Club Spec 2. That's VTEC.

should go for a AEM or Injen intake system

after that get a nice set of headers 4-1 JDM or any other that u can afford

and once u got all that get a ECU and tune it for more power

Welcome! Many people don't realise why we drive small-engined Hondas until they drive one themselves!

Also, I say keep the DC2R. It's very nice and the DC5R is not really a big upgrade (if an upgrade at all! :)).

Welcome aboard! As much as some say "it's just a Honda" you'll realise that after owning a good one the way you critique other vehicles will change :p
