u will need blower box, heater box, climate ac loom, sensors, and climate control console
then it is a straight swap
u will need to take the dash out to replace with these climate control parts

Hey
thanks for the reply,

actually i got everything from eg6 half cut

but found out the plus on the a/c fan is different, (EG5 one got a lot)(EG6 only have 2)

do i need to change any wiring loom to make it run?

how about the wiring in the engine bay(where the a/c compresser goes and fan)

thanks

u will only need to change the climate control ac loom that connects into your ac parts
everything else is the same

sorry to reopen a dead thread.
my car doesnt have a/c and my standard fan unit has a broken button.

can I use the eg6 climate control as a normal unit using the same loom and have the heater working only? no a/c anyways or will I still need to change the loom?

is a nightmare to convert your AC system to the climate control as others have said, you need to convert all of the wiring harness, a/c fans and piping etc.. if you just want the 'bling' of an EG6 climate controller, you can remove your EG5 unit and swap the faces accross.. full regular functionality will be retained but it will LOOK like the climate control unit. yes that's rice, but if you just wants the look.. is fine..

if u have a halfcut it's easy

I dont have air conditioning in my car anyways

SO yea, I wanted it for the 'rice' factor then, but will I be able to make my heater work without using all the eg6 wiring harness. note 'Heater', nothing else.
