hey guys just very interested in knowing, iv got an eg5, iv done a conversion and put a b16a2 in it, brought myself a b1807 (type R) block got toda pistons, eagle rods,crank all of that stuff ready for another convestion but having second thoughts about it, i will be spending way over 7 or 8k to get it in the very low 13s so why dont i just put a k20 in. Iv got prices from good friends of mine, 1 said 13 to 14k drive away, just want to hear for the people that have dont such a thing..!

There is always budget K swap and expensive K swap , this is all about how far you wanna blow your budget.
Its not very hard at allwith B series to run low 13s , its all about how do you set and drive your car down the 1/4 mile. K series doesnt guarentee 12 sec pass but with the right set up / tuning / driving technique it will run 12s.

for kseries swap i heard it'll cost you up to 15k to drive away.
and will only get the 12 second mark, if you know what you're doing + the right tune.

not as much fun building it yourself. But its smarter idea financially to buy a already k swap car :).

Mines a b20, spent 15g on it, fully built. in my car and ready for sale. running i dunno ask fat boyz. but just lost by a bonnet by a GTR 32 425hp. Fully worked b20 in a Eg damns they will hammer, will be faster then a k swap in eg.

they are great and all but u think the newer honda motors will be shitter then older ones.. they would improve not go backwards..

K series are the shits, just it cost too much to have it fully worked. as b20 its a 15g fully worked engine. I prefer k24 tho
