White looks good, but I prefer stock purely coz a respray usually looks try-hard

sand down with varying grades of sand paper, then hit them with a buffer and compound... unless you have had experience with it dude its better you leave it to a pro to get a proper finish...
Polish ftw! or fluro green

the idea of polish is to have the usrface purfactly clean, and to have it as smooth as possible. so firstly youd sand with about 400 grit, then wet sand moving upto about 1600 grit.
apply metal polish compound (it can be like in the shape of a claybar) and polish the surface, and buff off. you can buy different compound kits depending on quality. i used a bunnings one for $16, i was happy with it, it comes with a polish disc that u can stick on your drill. but i know what im doing so you have to remember not to stay polishing in one spot too long etc

Bunning's has lot's of drill attachment's to do the whole process.
Alot easier than by hand.
Also people use small mouse style sander's to make it easier.

Plenty of people have produced great result's with them.;)
I would choose random orbit for the sanding and hand finish.

repco has 1600-2000 finish. dont forget the polish
when wet sanding, remember to leave the sand paper in a bucket of water for 2 minutes, then make sure u use a spray bottle to spray over the rim every so often as ur no debris gets in the way and blocks thje sand paper

Autosol's not too bad but there's plenty to choose from.
Also you should consider clearing them if you put alot of time in to it.
Or just keep polishing them.

ive just sent my dc5r rims to get sandblasted and powder coated for $240. Hassel free and dont have to worry about any sanding/painting.... Some places in melb quoted me over $400 to do the same job....
Did some homework on the benefits of powder coating, and it seems to be a better option than painting.... Its more expensive at first, but your probably better off in the long run.....
See google for powdercoating, and there are a few threads in ozhonda if you search!
OEM Chrome + Polished ftw!

just pick out the bunnings brand "trojan" and use the polish they give you, its fine i suppose for what you're doing if you dont want to pay someone $200 to polish your rims.
