Hey all.. was wondering if I could get some help identifying anything you can about this exhaust (bonus points for pricing and a possible place to get it done). Just whatever you can tell from the pictures will do. I love the tone on this one lots. Nice and deep, not too loud, and it doesn't look like it's trying too hard. I eventually want to get one for my EK, hopefully the exact same one, but for now, I wouldn't know where to start.

Thanks, as always!

ps. I know the kit makes it a bit hard to see, soz!

z3lda: A bit presumptuous of you to assume I didn't. If she knew I wouldn't be asking here thanks.

vinnY: Thanks mate- will check it out. :)

its abit small to be apexi or tanable. Looks more like a mugen twin loop or fujitsubo, but need a better look at the bottom of the muffler.
IF it is one of the better brands it should be badged to give you and idea of the maker and then its just matching the brand's range.

Or it could be a no brand with a welded on tip

can confirm its not a twinloop(tip's too short, oval vs twinloop's circular body)
was originally thinking it might be something like a stock dc5r (http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s206/rev4ever/DSC01073.jpg) muffler but i guess not

Hmm.. still looking for it. Took a look at the Tanabe, Apexi and Fujitsubo ones and it doesn't look like any of them.

Was wondering as well in the third pic where you can see inside the tip, it looks like there's another thing in the tip, the metal with all the holes in it.. Is that like a silencer or is it just cosmetic?

i have a hi tech muffler for sale. it looks very similar but its not hi tech, cuz they had hi tech inprinted on the muffler body.
is it a branded one?
i had a cheapo 30buck chrome muffler awhile ago that looked pretty much the same but no inprinted name.

Hey dude I think you're spot on the money with the Hitech! Mystery solved!! Thanks heaps! :)

Anyone know if they have a stockist/fitter for them in Brissie? And roughly what it might cost? Cheers!
