Exhaust/timing??

Hey guys,

Recently my ej8 has started making a very odd sound with the engine..

To explain the noise, it sounds like v-tec is engaged but im only doin say 2,3 or 4 thousand RPM..

My guess would be that either i have a whole somewhere in my exhaust system or my timing belt it stuffed..

Any suggestions?

probably got what i got, must of scraped ur exhaust. does it sound kinda tinny? or like angry bee's in a can? that usually happends betwen 2000-4000rpm

if there was an issue with your timing belt your engine wouldn't be running.

more likely there is a hole in the exhaust. Take it to an exhaust shop and they will be able to tell you.
