Hey guys so my friend is purchasing new rims for 1.8k off someone in melb through a forum. He wanted to pay him half the amount to ship it to Sydney and then the remaining half when he receives the rims.
But the seller wants the full amount before he sends anything.

What should my friend do so that to ensure that it is a legitimate transaction and he doesn't get screwed over by the seller.

check the sellers trader rating firstly.

If he wants to be really safe.....Go for a weekend drive to Melbourne
