It seems at least 90% of you FI guys favour a GT28 over a GT25. Can you list what exact model you have eg. GT2871r. The reason I ask is because many people are calling their turbos GT28 but they are in fact GT2560R. How many of you are using a GT2560R, and call it a GT28 and are happy with it or wish they had a real GT28?

I ran a GT2871R .63 a/r T3 housing.

In short, dont bother. The 71mm compressor is not matched well to the 28's turbine, u get unessesary lag, and not enough topend to compensate. the biggest 28 id go is the RS. If ur thinking of the 71R, step up to the GT30. You will gain spool and response, ALONG with making alot more topend power.

the only difference between the 25 and 28 turbine is .8mm. Not really worth much HP.
