Hi wyn,

just curious is the ozhonda arcade gonna ever come back ? or has that gone forever. Also...what happend to the birthdays feature ? i actually quite liked that.

Not sure about the bdays, but the arcade is definitely gone for good as that is deemed a vulnerable point of the forums making it easier to hack.. (or something along those lines)

It's more the fact that it was an add-on to vB which:

1) Gives more vulnerability to the site in the case of any problems with the coding.
2) VB do not provide support for modded boards (that said we do have a few minor mods installed as they were deemed to be very handy/necessary and the support/updates for them were readily available).
3) When it comes to upgrading....things are a LOT easier the less mods you have installed.

That said.......no the arcade won't be back. What was the Bday feature you were talking about?

we use to have 'todays birthdays' with useranme and age
made site seem alot friendlier thats all. :)

Think it might have been right down the bottom.

BTW I have re-enabled it but doesn't seem like anyone has a bday today!
