Reliability of DC2 Vtirs and DC4 GSI

Hey guys im interested in getting a dc2 integra vtir or a dc4 integra gsi. its my first car, im still on my learners atm and dont wanna spend more than 9-10k. anyways i was wondering how reliable these cars are, as i dont want to buy one then spend thousands fixing it up or what not. also can you guys tell me what to look out for when purchasing one.
