Lip kits 06 euro

Hi,

Just after some info on lip kits for 06 white euro lux.

Now i have read a number of forums, but just to be clear I want to know exactly what kit fits 06 euro lux.

From what i have read

06 EURO R KIT is the 06 sport edition fits
OEM modulo 06 direct fit

I like the look though of the 03-05 euro r kit but this does not fit correct????

I believe you'd have to change the whole front bar to the 03-05 front bar if you'd like the 03-05 euro r lip as it's different from the 06-07 one.

only 06 and above modulo lips will fit the 06 front euro, 03-05 sideskirts will fit but i dont think there any difference and i believe only 06+ rear skirts will fit on the rear

I dont understand this comment so much, do you mean just fitting the front and rear lips with the side skirts?

the lip kit simply sticks onto the standard front and rear bars, the side skirts are swapped.

I mean, stock 05 euro like mine with just a new Lip to bolt on. i have stock sideskirts and rear bar. Do the bodykit sideskirts replace the stock ones or bolt on to them?

The 06-08 OEM lip kits bought through honda are known as the modulo accessory lip kits in Japan

Dam i want it, only if it was in brisbane =( Mm neither, What does the lip itself look like? Incl the fog light holes or just the grooves next to the fog light + bottom lip.

The decent poly lips that are mugen copies look good and are in use at acurazine. I'd love one for the price but ive been in contact with the main guy ands its $400 usd to ship. I've tried my Fedex and UPS accounts but even though its only about 10kgs, the box is so long its calculated at 100kgs. suxs

i dont want fibreglass as I have a habit of clipping shit.

No it wouldnt. But you can always do some modifications to the front bar to compensate for the 06-07 lip.
There was a member who modified their 03-05 euro front bar to fit the 06 sport lip. He posted pics in the appearance gallery.

im getting it along with my euroR grille/badging/surround/radiator cover.... so id only save a little bit of frieght as that shit is already huge...

besides, id have to get it painted... my one has already been painted :D

No it wouldnt. But you can always do some modifications to the front bar to compensate for the 06-07 lip.

PM the member here on ozhonda, i think its Markasia from memory. Go to the link i sent u below the pic just to be sure. Last time i asked him, he said he needed to modify and i am almost certain he needed to cut parts off the front bar in order to fit it.

Actually, Im sure the 03-05 Euro-r came in the white. Whether they continued the colours over to the 06-07 Euro-r im not sure...

Awseome. I didnt think side skirts were needed as the stock ones are fine with the right lip. thats how I want my car to look but I just cant seem to be able to get a decent lip.

It should come pre-painted. The 06-07 euro R lip is the same as the euro sports/limited edition lip. I'm pretty sure they came in every colour that the euro came in. except that new mocha colour or whatever.

Yeah another dealer has advised they are pre-painted. However he mentioned it may not fit on a 07 luxury as the bumper between the euro sport and the luxury are different part numbers..

Anyone fit euro sport kit (euro R) to a luxury euro, im sure many have done this!!!

I believe they are only different as the luxury has the washers for the hid? The sport kit should fit fine. Don't believe there is any difference in the bumper between the standard euro and luxury euro apart from that.

Yeah that's what I thought!!!! just the HID washers!!! Some of these guys at honda are hard to believe sometimes!!

My understanding is that if you were buying an OEM kit now it would be unpainted unless you found one that was ordered but not taken and has been sitting around. :thumbdwn:

Honda will not guarantee it will fit!! Also has anyone got the exact part no's of the 06-07 euro sport (euro R) kit, as i am having alot of trouble trying to determine the correct ones from a number of honda dealers.

I cant see why they would say it may not fit??

Correct. I'm chasing a rear lip and side skirts for my 2004 Euro. Called Honda Dealers here in Melbourne and all of them said that they now come unpainted, just primed. Booo!

I have the 06 OEM Modulo Kit and Honda told me when I ordered a new rear underskirt to replace a damaged one that early in the series they come prepainted but as the demand for them runs down the factory just does them in black and they need to be color matched to your particular car.

It may well be the same for the Euro R Kit as well.
