no spark !!!

hey guys ive just put my jdm b18c into my carby eg civic, changed the fuel tank an lines, engine is getting fuel but no spark, the ecu is a G8 standard honda computer is this the right one for the jdm model or is that one of the ones with the immobiliser in it ? i have no idea why else it wouldnt have spark ? anyone have ne ideas cheers

what loom did you use and how is it wired up?

i used the loom from a efi eg civic

immo cuts fuel not spark.

have you earthed the ECU at the thermostat housing, are you getting an ICM signal from the ECU. is 12v getting to the dizzy via the fat blk/yel wire.

when i did my conversion i had no spark,it was because someone had put the chip in my hondata around the wrong way,so evertime i turned the ignition on the ecu fuse would blow.your circumstances are different,but none the less,cant hurt to check your fuses

last time we couldn't crank it over due to immboliser.

check earthing, last time i had this issue it was cos i didn't earth the coil properly

na ive worked it out to be the earth for the ecu at the thermostat, stranger place for the earth tho lol
