Hi I am peter dunn and I have the first aussie [victoria] road registered leyland mini fitted with a 92 jdm integra da6 b16a, mini is about 700kg and great fun to drive with b16a vtec. mini regards peter d. AS REQUESTED PHOTOS [PAGE 2]

To fit the b16a I had to build a complete new subframe for it to pass engineering / vic rego etc etc mini regards peter d.

As promised, here are some pictures....
I started by buying a conversion kit but that didn't work so I started again and built my own subframe. 18 months later it's on full reg now and I can drive it. Here's some pictures of the engine bay. If I'd given the engine a coat of paint the bonnet wouldn't have shut!

very nice work. you should check out a Mini(i think) in the states, they "somehow" fit a k24 into it then supercharged it, its on k20a.org
