i know i have to drill some holes here and there and make a shift-linkage

wouldn't it be easier to just buy a manual and sell the auto?

too much hassle. god look what the internet is doing to people's brains these days, you cant even spell.

anyways, the engine from a da9 is a b18a (OBD0 or OBD1 depending on the year) and the engine from a dc4 is a b18b.

it is my understanding that the gearboxes are different. i am however willing to stand corrected on this point

from personal experience i would say sell it, or get rid of it and look for a manual :)... The only benefit that i can see now is that i geuss you might not know exactly what your getting with another car.

My car got dominated in an accident, and instead of repairing it, i offloaded it and im now in the process of getting a manual within the week, im hell excited and it saved me a shitload of money that i can now put into my sound system!

it will work but you will still the hydraulic clutch and i think you many need different shift links and shifter but the transmission should just bolt strait on also you will need ecu, sensors, cluster.... etc

rofl,
89-91=OBD0
91-93 = OBD1

go for at least a 91-93. doing engine conversions in the future to a b16a or b18c or something else is so much cheaper =) scrap the auto and get a manual. sell your dc4 to some noob red p plater.

If you really did want to go down the conversion path you would want to get a later model Integra write off. swapping in the cable tranny parts from the older model would be a bit more difficult than the Hydraulic parts from a DC, I would think.

just sell your car and buy a manual it will be to much money to do a manual conversion we wanted to get my girlfriend's lancer converted to an auto they said $2000 to do the conversion
