We just changed our home & contents to them, heeeeeeaps cheaper than other companies. Had to ring them once and very helpful. When our cars come up for renewal we'll be looking at them.
yeah they;re ALOT cheaper than other insurance companies..
ok so i went ahead with the insurance. real insurance are insuring my car for $12XXX for 740$ where as GIO was insuring my car for $10XXX for $1500. They pretty much have the same terms and conditions; choice of repairer etc.
At the moment i've found out that their claims department is trying to development and improve as alot of claims have been taken out due to all the floods etc. Other than that it seems to be a good company.

they're covering for my rims aswell [$1000] and unlimited mods as long as its under 50% of the cars value and complies to australian standards etc.

Just be careful alot of the insurnace companies don't cover mods.
I know i had to change to Justcars cos they were the only one who would insure my mods
i just didnt like the fact that you i couldnt choose my own repairer with just cars.
