hay guys, im getting a b18c1 put in around april, and im looking to get a new xhaust system as well.. right now i only got d16y1 and a 3A racing axleback muffler. and AEM SRI, but once the new engine is in, im looking to get a full BC specII system put in.. i just wanna no if anyone has any experience with these systems, im aware that they are very loud.. according to their site it at 900 its at 96db and at 4500 its at 105db which i belive is relatively loud. but i wanna no performance wise wat are the gains like... also guys if u have ne other suggestions, let me no considering i will be spending almost $900 on this system, frankly i dont care about the noise, the louder the better. but yes i wouldn't mind geting some gains from the exhaust. the headers are also stock. but i will be looking into getting sum 4-2-1 headers later on to. im looking for low end gains :) it already has a custom CAI made up.

http://www.buddyclub.com.au/2007/racing_spec_muffler/racing_spec_muffler_spec2.html this is the catback system i assume? i'm hoping for a 2.25" cat back.

rrp for that system is 900, and im hoping on spending maybe max another 300 on a good cat. cool?

cheerz lads.

did you get any noticable gains from it?

Well yes coz it has less restrictions than other exhuasts but rattles like a rotary engine because of the thin steel that its made from.

this exhaust isnt street illegal i think. straight pipes are good gains but too noisey. install the header, exhaust, and cat at the same time so save u less trouble and time.

They will be leading Australia in the cricket in a few years time rofl, yeh.

Get something like Fujitsubo like kn1gntm4res for nice tone and performance.

the sound of spec II is loud tinny and all over the place...
i suggest spoon n1 for hectic sound and unrestricted performance...and suitable muffler size for your small hatch...

you could buy this off me =)

Mugen Twin Loop are awsome, nice expensive sports car sound but no police atraction =)

if u want really nice performance and sound for ur b18c get a fujita/injen cold air intake (not short ram) made my car sound nice and deep (like a wrx but without the rumble) but quiet down low and smoothed off the performance nicely with a nice gain in bottom and top end =)

all u need than is some good 4-2-1 headers (5zigen or toda) and a good hi flo cat (or jdm), maybe a vafc2 + tune and ur set =D

TO BE HONEST: i want the loudest possible xhaust, coz im going through that phase where i wanna hear it!!!! and juding by youtube videos, the N1 sounded a little deeper than the bc2, the bc2 sounded very rattly... correct me if im wrong.

heres a nice set up:

http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o101/crxsta/bc2-1.jpg

Custom 2.5 inch pipe to high flow metal cat, i dun think it that EG even has a cat.
Link that to 4-1 headers and see how loud that is.

can i bump this, with the question of SPOON N1 vs BC sII... which is better, i want louder, but better sound, bc2 bit rattly... thanks yo.

each of them have there pros n cons. yes the BC2 is louder than the N1, but the N1 has a better toney deep noise, and louder than most mufflers. it will depend on the set up etc etc. performance wise the BC2 will win cos its just straight

Exhaust will always sound better with good headers imo.

Yes spoon n1 combined with good headers with definitely give u the loud sound u after.
I was so paranoid driving my car when it's first done, the loudness was almost unbearable and I usually like loud exhaust...

i had a BC spec2 on for about 2 years..
very loud
hurts my ears everytime i drive it hard..
but i love it when it comes on VTEC
cant beat it
also had a spoon N1 as well
sounds awsome but not my cuppa
but for a quiet exahust definately spoon
if u dont mind going deaf. then BC spec 2
