Try changing the radiator cap. It might not be letting the coolant flow back and it just spills out. It cost around $10, first cheap check

did that, no spills whatsoever....no leaking....

haiyaa...I've told u before hehehe..
check that as well. it might be a trapped air inside the radiator that makes it look full when the engine's cold.

do you use A/C alot?

haiyaaa....i will go to my mech tomorrow and check it. But for the meantime, I just want to know what are the possibilities...hahaha...

well not a lot, sometimes....A/C + boost...

thats a very good question.
I have the same problem, my resovoir tank , i fill it full 1wk later it's empty.
will change radiator cap and let u know.
Bleed the coolant again.
Take the cap off (watch the coolant if the car is still warm), set you climate control to the warmest (this lets the coolant flow into the heater core) and turn your car on.
Wait until the car warms up again, and your radiator fan should kick in twice (once and then one minute later again), as it is getting warm, you should see bubbles come out. When done, just close the cap and check again a few days later.

Worst case scenario is a leaking head gasket (or even worse than 'worst' is a cracked head, though less likely). At this point the gasket may only be leaking very slightly, but if it is leaking it will get worse. I'm not saying you do have a gasket problem, but it wouldn't be unlikely.
Keep an eye on your temp guage.
Check your rad hoses for excessive internal pressure (squeeze them after you've been for a run). If they feel very hard / firm then this might indicate the cooling system is being pressurised by compression amd combustion pressures. Just because the cooling system may not be being overpressurised doesn't mean the gasket is not suspect, the gasket may not yet be leaking more pressure than the rad cap can vent, but if it is leaking then I'll bet it will at some point.

I'll do yours after I've done with the bleed thingy...:) thx man

To clear up, the situation now is using new aftermarket radiator not the stock one... Leaking is definitely not, bubble inside the radiator way is possible. Flush and fill up to remove the bubble. :D
coba aja wakakkaka

they're more like $25-35 for a OEM one

what??? bleed it from the drain plug??????? r u serious? suppose to bleed it from the top (radiator cap off).
Haven't done it yet, no money to buy radiator coolant...damn

I did the bleed thingy.
I took the radiator cap off, turned on the heater and start the engine. In 5 minutes, the coolant went up til around the neck. So I turned off the engine.
I reckon, there's no air inside the radiator....what do you guys think??
If later, say 1 week later after I drive the car with/without the a/c on and the coolant in the reservoir tank goes below minimum or less than now....what do you guys think the problem is? water pump??
There are no leaks by the way....
thanks

thats strange.
Its not feeding the right pressure somewhere.
radiator cap would be the first guess but if not that, how are your hoses? they have to be fairly strong.
check the connections, if you find dry milky residue on the underside of the hoses you have a slight leak.
Make sure the hoses are still fairly strong.

I did and other mechanic did check the hoses....there are no leaks....all still strong....
Can tuning the ecu fix the problem? or is it more to mechanical stuff such as water pump, hoses???
is there a coolant bleed bolt on the block itself... i seen one in a pic, it was next to the vtec solenoid... ???

Sometimes during hot day, the radiator drinks the coolant from the reservoir tank pretty quick....less than a week, I have to top it up....no overheating though...

no residue of coolant being leaking anywhere? its not overflowing from the reservior? Its gotta go somewhere it can't just dissapear, especially the amounts your talking about.
What coolant you using?
Mine is boosted and i've got no probs at all the coolant is staying at same level all the time. But i run an aftermarket radiator with Toyota coolant.

mate, im going to take a guess.
Water pump seal.
I have the same problem, And i finally traced it back to the water pump.
Mine doesnt always leak, only when parked on a hill. it might only be a few drops when ur on a flat surface so you havent noticed.
Block your wheels, and jack up your front passenger side (just a little bit). Put a big peice of cardboard underneath your entire engine bay.
Check it in the morning, if there is nothing than you have no leaks, and it eliminates the possibility from the list.

looks like no residue for me and no leaking. Coz the mechanic did pressure test and no dripping whatsoever... I'm using coolant from honda and aftermarket radiator as well....

Might check it but my car park is not flat and i never seen any drops..But might check the water pump. The radiator will drink the coolant like crazy when the outside weather is hot or when I turn on the A/C...besides those, all look normal.
I parked my car on a uphill today and turn on the engine with heater on (maximum) and radiator cap off...when the thermostat kicked in, I saw the coolant went down a few times and a few bubbles came out. I keep topping it up. and like after 45 minutes, the coolant level is steady...I don't know if that means everything is working 100% ok or not :P

You either have a small external leak that you haven't spotted yet (might be evaporating before it drips), or the head gasket is starting to go...
