Strut Bar Doesnt Fit ek

My Strut bar doesnt fit my ek1 civic.
Theres this bloody hose in the way, i think its a hose got to do with the aircon or something. This i near the passenger side strut.
any suggestions? should i move the hose, its pretty rigid and hard to move, would have to replace the metal pipe connecting both hoses... ugh

you gotta unbolt the mount which holds the aircon pipe in place(single 10mm bolt) so you can move it around a bit
then sort of jiggle the strut bar mount under there and bolt it in place then bolt up the aircon pipe back in place :)

also on the drivers side, theres this metal plate in the way aswell... it pokes out into kinda a hook... should i bend it outta the way aswell or is that bad?
it holds up these electric wires and joints from what i see... didnt bother inspecting that much cos i knew LHS wouldnt fit..

yeh i saw your strut in your FS thread, looked good, my one was diff though... ill try 2morrow and if it doesnt fit ill take fotos of the problem spots..

it's common, i've seen the same thing happen on a members euro

what brand is the strut bar? the only thing that should be a problem is the hose, just undoing it is fine as once the strut bar is bolts on it should wedge the hose from moving to.

The drivers side hook should be the holder for the throttle cable.
It's ok to bend the holder a bit.

cool, you think that's hard wait till you try a 3 point brace. It took 2 of us to get it in
