Its the ED shape. Set aside 4.5-5k to get a B-series into the ED

for sure it aint an ED, i was simply displaying some information he could read upon. do your homework dude, search around and who knows you might find what you are after. but to give you an idea, try and do most of the labour yourself cause you will get ripped off if someone else dose it. also what type of B series are you after 1) B16a 2) B16b 3) B18C 4)B18CR ???

the ED chassis is noticeably lighter than the ek and eg chassis, which can be useful.

if you dont want to do an engine conversion, check out www.onecamonly.com for engine packages for the d series. you'd be surprised how much power you can make from a d series, its cheaper than a conversion to a b18c and makes similar power.

i've got an 89 ed6 as well. my mechanic is just doing the final touches of my engine package, including stage 2 cam, kms complete valvetrain + blockguard, head milled down 1mm, p29 piston + all motor kit + metal 3 layer head gasket, plus soon i'll be doing a quad carburetor conversion (already got the parts, just need to run the engine in first). and so far, its cost me about 2.5k, including labour. power is expected to be about 150-160whp, which is pretty darn good.

pics are on my mechanic's phone at the moment, i'll grab them off him sometime. but my engine's gone from a dirty brown to a very shiny and very clean silver, its almost as if its new again. gonna paint the rocker cover in wrinkle red, and then paint the extractors black. only problem im having trouble with is finding someone in australia that can tune skracing carburetors.

hmm, that honda city looks like it would be a nice sleeper. my car would look more like a sleeper if i got rid of the tuned4street sticker on the back.
