old oil deposal

i was thinking of trying to do a lot of things myself, i have changed the break pads,putting in the fuel rail and FPR, and CAI myself. it is lot more fun than just having a car to drive around fast

just about to change my oil, clutch fluid and break fluid, wondering if anyone know where the deposal the old oil, thanks

I dump it at the waste management unit.

you can take it to a mechanic and ask to put it in their waste oil drum,they will probably charge you a little,but nothing over $5.we do it for people sometimes at our workshop

Its free at a local dump... I usually accumulate all the used oil into the used containers and dump it all at one go...Usually about 20 litres each time :-p
