Hi guys. Would i be better off getting the Mugen High Performance Air Intake or just go with a CAI? Cause from what i've read they're pretty good. I'll give you guys the product description including about the air filter and they're pics.

Mugen High Performance Air Intake System
There are many design considerations when developing an air intake system for street and race applications. The process is complex when peak HP numbers are not the only goal; a properly designed system will maximize torque and power throughout the RPM range. Consideration should be given to system volume, air inlet temperature, filter construction, sound and wave characteristics, system weight, and final fitment. Mugen High Performance Intake Systems incorporate all critical design criteria and as a result they fit perfectly, provide maximum torque and horsepower across the entire RPM range, and allow the driver to experience the engine note without being overpowered by extremely high sound levels.

Mugen High Performance Air Filter
Using technology developed in F1 and GT engine programs, Mugen has developed a new direct replacement air filter.

The primary filtration system is a steel mesh material moisturized with a special filter oil. This system is then wrapped with a low density sponge material that prevents debris from passing. This system reduces pressure loss by 50% when compared to the OEM filter.

$500 for intake is way too expensive In my opinion.

Dont care too much about the price if it performs well. I just wanna know if it can be installed.

because its a CB7 accord and not a prelude, the engine bay layout will be
different ('obviously' or maybe not) the only way to find out whether it will fit is by getting a rough idea of
where its going to feed to the throttle body and where the filter housing lays in
a prelude engine bay... then take that knowledge and use it to find out where
its going to lay in the accord engine bay...

i doubt it will be plug n play because the engine bay might be different but im
not sure on that havnt studied the CB7 and Lude Side by Side but then you
would need the intake as well
