Hey guys, just need an opinion. Looking for a set of wheels for my dc2r. i am planning on getting a set of 15" rota slipstreams or should i get them in 16's, dont wanna regret getting the wrong ones as i find 4 x 114 wheels are pretty rare to find.

cheers =)

5 x 114.3

Depends what you want them for?

Either 15's or 16's. I think don't go any larger than 16 inch. Any larger just looks to big on a DC2R.

If your after a bit of street creed, go for the 16 inch.

arghh i see, nah my wheels are 4 x 114 i have a jdc2r. Do you think if i was to get 16's i would lose any performance at all? since the car came factory 15s? Im ordering these from the US so i gotta make sure which ones i want.

Ah, you have a JDM 96 spec DC2R? Nice. :D

If your going to the drags a bit and only want 1 set of rims, then get 15x7 inch rims. If its just mainly street driven then go 16x7, looks that bit nicer. But it up to you what you want.

With the 16x7's, don't go any larger than a +40 offset, it gets very close to the gaurds. I would actually go for +45 offset with a 205/45R16.

Don't forget the JDM 98 spec DC2R came with 16x7 rims.

Exactly what I was about to say!

Go for 16's mate. There a reason why Honda upgraded them to 16's.

15s ftw...

16 for street and show..

but if ur in 2 tracking and r sereas about it (not just whant 2 look good) 15s are the way 2 go.. cheaper tyres, more tyre options, the smaller the better :)

if people wanna buy cheap ROTA's and other parts, the company which sells them on ebay has a website. It is

http://store.lsdmotorsports.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc

I got a price from them in terms of delivery. They said $200 to my door, that was for slipstreams in 16x7

You need to explain that a bit more $200 for what??

For each wheel?

Delivery fee only?

Is it US $

I was in the same boat recently deciding between 15 & 16. 16's look just right on DC's, I'm getting 4x114 16x7 +44 offset, should fit nicely when they arrive.

15's are all right
98 spec only went 16's becos of bigger brake caliper and bigger cv's

i emailed the seller asking delivery charges to Melbourne, he replied with $215 (sorry, thought it was $200) including insurance on all 4 rims. The rims cost $450 US. Add the 2 together and convert to Australian and you get about 730~ which i believe is still reasonably priced considering what you can only get here in Australia.
