Is this a common problem? I just bought a skunk2 shift knob, it screws on ok but there still loads of thread showing on my stock shifter...
Wasn't it mean to be made for honda's hence the 1.5mm threading.

Push the boot up higher, clip it around the locknut. Or cut the top of the stick.

Cutting a bit off the stick will give it that lil short shifter feel as well...

I have a B&M short shifter, still have the problem so tried the stock shifter, same issue. It was prob designed for the Skunk2 one.
Was going to pull up the leather boot but the crx one is too short. Oh well :(

ive read that the skunk2 knob is designed to sit even with the skunk2 shifter. (found this out after i purchased the knob)

Looks like ill have to buy the dual bend skunk2 short shifter....

Nope not at all lower. I read on the B&M site the shifter was designed so you could use your stick knob exactly like stock thread.
