hi guys, I am planning to change my exhaust system but i noticed that under my car, all of the exhaust system is welded straight from my engine to the back of the car.
if i wanted to change the system, do i have to cut half of the pipes or do i have to change the whole piping system?
i was thinking to change them to something like this:

last night i just ducked under my car and take a look at the exhaust system...
and it looks like the whole piping was welded shut from the engine through to the exhaust tip...
what should i do now??
*riviera: twin tip in ebay cost about 1000+ cant afford. cool but can't afford

That's strange - I had a look under my 95 Accord today and I'm certain the exhaust is actually several components bolted together. (edit: though I didn't look at the muffler itself).
Regardless, an exhaust shop can still easily weld in a couple of flanges so you can bolt in whatever you like. As for pricing, nothing beats calling people up and hassling them for deals. Flea-bay is not the be all and end all of shopping (though it is addictive and fun).
What did you want to change anyway?

he didn't have the muffler in stock and all that he can show me is just a picture and its out of a book...
i don't think he said the name as well (or i dont remember)
all that i can remember is that he said it is a sports muffler
and he asked if it is for performance or for sound

Don't know where you are but Mr. Muffler in Prahran is very good.
Are you getting just a muffler or are you doing the system?
If system, and you plan to keep the car form more than 5 years go for S/S
If not go for M/S
Be aware that cheap mufflers will drone like a crazy in the cabin.

It might not be legal, cause it creates noise pollution above a certain db.

you should be fine i reckon.
Please do not put a 4inch cannon on your accord.
1. is ugly
2. Is not needed
3. Will result in a higher chance of power loss than power gain
4. Will sound loud, drony and shit.
5. Will denote the "luxury" appeal of an accord to the likes of every pulsar or shitbox corolla.
5 reasons not to get a 4inch cannon.
