Ford TX3 Turbos Are Snails and R32 GTSTs are FAST

Monday Arvo, Red one.. Saw an A/F ratio gauge on the A pillar so I thought I give it a go, he was a kid, so cool :) pretending like nothing is gonna happen LOL.. Lights go green and off I went and owned him from off the line .. My GF told me she him giving me a thumbs up after the race when he overtook me.. Such a gracious fella... :)

On the Eastern, I had 4 on board including me and I took on the R32 GTST, I could keep up with him and edged up towards him from third gear onwards till redline and changed to fourth... After the race, he told me he's got FMIC, Boost controller, BOV and pod... and boy his BOV was loud and sweeeeeet! He got 3 persons on board... so fair handicap :P

Like I said before, Turbos are faster off the line, but the Euros.. with the high RPM and speed.. we EUROs catch up :D :D.. Thanks to our short ratio :D

Euro has a K24 yeah?? Fair effort dude :) R32's are pretty decent for starting in old 89. This coulda been newer but they are still wearin on.

Good to hear the Euro family car has a bit of balls in it :D

But yeah even if he tried you'd have owned him, unless he had the 1.8 turbo with like 130/135kwts. they're quick little beasts.

The TX3 is gay, you can whip em even if there got a turbo with a stock B16a,
3rd gear in a B16a2 CRX should be good for 160 4th gear redline is good for 200. I only know this coz I jacked up my car and reved it to see where the gears maxed out. I would never do such crazy things on a public road.

well not in a Euro but still an accord :)

i beat an R32 GTS-t yesterday. He had FMIC, exhaust and was running 13psi (dynoed 140rwkw a couple of hours earlier). He had me in first cos i just spun the tyres and went nowhere, but by end of 2nd i was slightly ahead and in 3rd i was walking away before he had enough ;)

3rd gear in a B16a2 CRX should be good for 160 4th gear redline is good for 200.

Only if your B16 revved past 9k rpm would you see those km/h in 3rd and 4th

When I redlined on third, it hit close to 140 max.. that's when I get closer to the Skyline's butt :P

my car will get 100 in second at 8200RPM, cant remember 3rd and 4th... generally focusing on whats going on...

mine will do 60 in 1st, 105 in 2nd, 155 in 3rd and 190 in 4th and 5th.

i wouldnt say all tx3's are slow. i know of 1 tx3 4wd with 400hp at the wheels

its getting rebuilt atm to be able to take 22psi lol

check your user manual. should say top speeds of gears.

yeah thats EG5 though man. The Type R engines are tuned boxes.

My civic used to rev at 2800 at 100km in 5th, now its at 3300...

but at 8000 RPM it drops around 2000RPM every shift.
