Hi, I will be geting a b18c and a turbo kit in my 1990 tegra just wondering on a clutch kit. I still have the standard gearbox in the tegra and I want something sturdy that wont blow up on me. Im geting a AFI stage 2 bottom mount turbo kit. Or any other sugestions???

mostly depends on how much power you're planning on making at the motor. if you're planning on somewhere less than 300hp, i'd go for an ebay clutch and flywheel kit by xtreme, xtr, or xtd. anything more, and you should start looking at exedy heavy duty sports tuff at the least, or a multiplate clutch.

for turbo a minimum clutch i would recommend would be a Exedy sports organic (i'm running one now). I know if you drive like certain people, you can pop the sports organic (you know who your are) and it can break in bits.

Now if your a calm to heavy foot - sports organic should hold up ok.
If your a manic driver - carbon fibre or Ceramic

his probably talking about me.
lol.
i put a sports organic clutch, into pieces and down to the rivets in about 10-15000kms.
lol.
i never once dumped the clutch, sure i drive it hard, but **** it's supposed to be driven hard.
lol.

after that, i got myself a carbon kevlar one from the states.

if you're planning on making more than 300hp down the track, just get a really good clutch now, so you have time to get used to it and wear it in. no point in forking out extra money to change to two different clutches if the end result will still be the same.
