Anyone know if you can drop a B18C Integra engine into a Jazz engine bay?

Im looking at buying one and just want to know some of my options for modification.

I reckon b18c will fit in, H22a will be questionable. K20 is definitely fit

b18c will fit, but as said above it wont be road legal. i've got a pic somewhere with a b18 in a jazz with a turbo kit. Will post it if i can find it.

just do a k swap
why do you want to spend all the effort putting an older motor into a new car?

i think by law, the engine must be newer than the car.

i remember reading that somewhere...

^yeps thats right and it aint street legal if you have to alter the firewall....

good luck cos the b16 jazz in thailand had to push back its firewall to fit

i thought j's racing jazz/fit is using a k series engine. i heard they got engine mounts and everything to do the k swap in one day. <correct me if i'm wrong> i've also heard its a very tight fit, so if anything take a k20 from a normal civic and you'll get instant power boost. say ~100kw

Not a one day job. You have to modify the frame rail to get transmission clearance. And in some case you have to run two ECUs one for the engine and one for the instruments etc. So that means buying their conversion wire harness also and a extra new ECU.

i love noobs lol

yes it can be fit with alot of custom work
no it will not ever be legal for road use in australia

there are a few k20a jazz around, that would be your best option.... or you could just trade in the jazz and buy a ctr

most definatly agree with panda, not worth the time and money. With the amount of time and money you will invest in a k series, you could just sell your car and buy a brand new ctr
