quick question
just want to know what size of bulb can i use for EG dash?or can i put led?since my dash light is too dark:thumbdwn:

T5...., but make sure you get some that fit in the cap.... a lot of LEDs are like 5.3mm, i measured the cap and it can only take 4.8mm

i got some that i thought were t5, but when i installed them they were a bit loose in the holder, didn't fall out or anything but not as snug as the standard. Maybe they were t4.5 :)

but yeah as above t5 for dash (6 of them)

used it for my climate control + dash on my em1.

eg dash u need five #24s and one #74...led lights are no good for dash application, you will get hot spots and it will look terrible

btw anyone know where to buy amber globes for JDM style dash? plz pm me

u would know by reading of the net? have u tried LEDS? wide angle? tri light LEDS?

Acryllic paint fairs well, make sure it's of a decent quality so it does not heat up and drip LOL. AT first I thought it wasn't transparent enough, but it seems to work !

P.S Macro mode made the pics come out ghey, in real life it's a lot more of a amber colour.

looks fine,

mins more redish i got no proper pic as the only cam i got atm is an iphone.

i got my tri lights from the link given at top

no hot spots whatsoever.

i used red, which its not a bright red. its a dark red which is quite good on the eyes..

EDIT : iphone doesnt show much as the LEDs arent as bright as a t10 bulb which doesnt show on pics.. need to see it IRL
