TD05 16g for b16a

would the td05 16g mitsubishi oem turbo be suitable for b16a?
any1 would like to share some thoughts?

im running this turbo.. its bush bearing, quite small and restrictive imo.. they are similar to a standard wrx turbo

cuz im changing the turbo on the evo
and just wanted to boost the b16a lol

boost it, run 10psi, and you'll prboably get 150kw atw.

it is abit small, just depends on what you wanna achieve.

evo turbos have been used on b16's before. The hard thing about them is the flange and the twin scroll. Not many manifolds out there support it. Otherwise its not really a bad turbo. has produced some good results. But remmber, the efficency of these turbos is in the +1bar region, so its not that good of a match for a stock b16a.

If u are good at fab and everything else is cheap, its will be wothwhile. But if u are going custom and paying for everything, its worthwhile getting a better turbo to start off with.
