im abit noobie when talking abt the pressure and that...

but would leaving the walbro with my stock motor and ECU cause more fuel consumption?

No because the pressure is set anyways.
I think it's good to change your fuel pump if it's 10 years old cause it's gonna pack it in one day so better to replace and put a afpr in.Great mod.

Sorry if i'm missing the point...
But whats the need for an after market fuel pump on a stock D series?

It's only really needed on bigger engine setup's.I put in a 255lph walbro cause my one was 10 years old and it can't hurt upgrading...I may just need it one day :)

to make it go hard lol

i use to have it with my turbo set up but since then have taken everything off but the pump

good point beeza but did you notice any change in idle or anything when you changed the pump or was it exactly the same?

No change at all :)
It was weird though when I put the pump in cause the filter bag sat strange and didn't seem right but it must be right cause there's no change to when I had the stock one in there...other's who have changed there pump will probably know what I'm talking about.
