Hi Folks,

Thought I would say hello,

Myself and the wife are looking into emigrating over in the next 18 months or so :),
Anyway does anyone know if there are any problems bring a FD2 type R over ? , as Im taking delivery of mine this week.Are there any other ones in OZ ?. My previous 2 cars have been EP3 type Rs both making 240bhp on the dyno, with DC Sports Race Manifold, Spoon B Pipe And Magnex Twin 3" Backbox, AEM CAI Kit,Plus Unichip mapped to my mods.

Compare, then decide if you still wanna bring it over.

Your FD2 is the 4 door version yeah? if so no we dont have those here but i dont really see why u shouldnt be able to bring it over because ive seen some on import sites forsale so i assume you could bring urs here
Im looking to get an EP3 in afew short months, Id really like some pics and or info on them if you could?

Hey man from my knowledge there is a personal import scheme here where you can import cars you own from other countries

We do not have FD2R's here which were kinda sad about, rather we have the UK FN2R.

AFAIK we don't have fn2rs for sale here for road registration!

Thanks for the comments guys, Ive Just taken delivery of my FD2R today and what a car it is "AWESOME" is the only way to describe it.

My EP3 type Rs were quick and the noise of them on full chat was amazing,My Black one would push all the way to 153mph on a private road of coarse ;) Also it would have went slightly higher if road allowed but it didnt.
the best mods for the EP3 is full exhaust,induction and remapped with Kpro. you be looking at 240bhp at the fly wheel with those mods and not much, if anything will keep up with it.The only way to increase from that is to put on a charger.

Thats exactly what i plan to do :D not for a few years tho till i get bored of it haha
