65mm TB on dc2r, need tuning?

Hey guys, im about to purchase a 65mm throttle body for my jdc2r, Just wondering does the car need to be retuned after i install it?

Any info in regards to the topic i would much appreciate

Then it'll be fine, if your using a stock ECU.

To really gain from it, you will need a tune...

nah if you wanna tune get a proper ECU, the minimal difference along with the agrovation will get to you.

I wouldn't bother with a VAFC. I'd go and get a Apex'i Power FC. They are going quite cheap nowadays.

Even though you wouldn't get MASSIVE "gains" from tuning a stock motor, you will open up some mid range power, which the DC2R lacks. I have done this with my car, and it's awsome. Also if you do any other mods in the future you can just tweak the tune slightly to deal with the new mods.
