Hey guys,
Basically what I have is a b16a block and a stock eg5.
Just wondering if you guys can help with telling me what parts I need to buy in order to drop the b16a block in the eg5.
Would anyone have these parts for sale or know where I can get all the parts needed to drop the motor in?
Also how much you reckon it will cost ?? Would it be easier to just buy a ½ cut instead of all the individual parts ??
Any help will be grateful.
Thanks heaps !

much easier to buy a halfcut than individual parts..
saves you the trouble or sourcing everything from loom to intake manifold to driveshafts etc.

hmmm i see..... thanks man.... i guess it wud b easier to jus buy the 1/2 cut but its just that im sorta on a tight budget here so since i already hav the block.... would it be cheaper to buy the parts ?? is there any1 or anywhere that i can get all the parts from ??
please do a search - this topic (B16 into EG5) has been covered a number of times.
as you allready have the 'block'.. you still need basically need EVERYTHING else.. so IN MY OPINION you're still much better off to get the front-cut.
if you get a good-condition front-cut you can litterally drop the motor into your chassis and wire it up and run it... however if you just have the block on it's own - you still need to source (at least) a head, intake manifold, sensors, exhaust manifold, wiring harness, ECU, mounts, shift Linkages, Transmission etc... so you havnt really saved anything by sourcing the block on it's own as it'd be a complete nightmare and very expensive to source the rest of the parts you need individually.. that's why I say just get a front cut.
as for your EG5, you've got the easiest chassis to do a B-series swap.. all of your wiring harness is fine however you will have differences between AUS-spec and JAP-spec (JDM) harnesses so you'll need to sort out a couple of things including the AUS/JDM O2 sensor, Knock sensor and ELD for example.
