how do you take the handbrake cover off on an eg? not the vinyl bit as in the bit that you actually grab?

i think its bonded on there.meaning they didnt want it to come off.twist and pull all you can if you really want it off,but theres no screws or anything

well if your gonna paint make sure you really prep it good, other wise it will rub off over time. what colour you gonna go with?

haha yeah its a c*nt to get off. havent tried with the hairdryer yet. im doing my full interior black and red.... except i need to find red floor mats (i dont really want to spend $350+ on the ek9 ones....any suggestions?). im using vinyl dye/paint from supercheap.... its done the trick on my hatch panels/centre console so far so yeah, but im thinking i might have to do something special with the handbrake because of the amount of touching that gets done on it?
