;1569549']are the wheels on euro even staggered?

i've had many customers want wider tyres for the back, they are not staggered but some people like them that way.

(btw: tyres can be staggered on same size rims)

What tyres are still in stock?

What are the Dunlops you have advertised? Are they the Super Sport 3000's?
Are they a good tyre for a combination of grip and wear?

Thanks

You have Dunlop Direzzas @ $180 fitted and balanced in 225/45 R17

Can I safely and legally go to 235/45/ R17s on my Stock Euro 17 x 7 OEM Rims?

Jane's and Jax said yes as long as the tyre clears the strut tower.

If ti would be ok to go to 235.45s what do you have in stock and what are the prices incl fitting and balancing?

Thanks heaps

Hey buddy,
yea 235 is about 9mm over the original size in rolling diameter so you can do that without it being illegal in any way whatsoever.

Tyres will clear strut tower easily as well dont worry about that.

they start at 110 for nexen n3000, great korean tyre for its price(NOT NANKANG!)

Or $175 for dunlop sp sport 3000e, aussie made, great tyre as well used as oem on some makes here as well.

All in stock.

Thanks buddy,
What is the wear like with both the Nexen 3000 and the Dunlop 3000e's?
I drive Hire Cars part time now and I have noticed that a lot of the drivers with Holden Caprice's run the Nexens.

Are the Dunlop 3000e's a better tyre than the Direzza's you were selling a little while ago?

Thanks heaps

The tread ratings for the nexen are 340, and the Dunlop is 240.
So the dunlops will wear faster.

Yes We put the nexens on most of the hire cars, and all the taxis we service, no complaints on them.

I didnt have the direza in 235/45/17 only in 225, but customers seem to like the direzza better, however the 3000e is original on the falcons as well so theyre both good tyres.

So what price can you do the Direzza's for in 225/45 R17 compared to the
3000e's in 235/45 R17 ? The Direzza's are just one step down from the Dunlop Sports Maxx in the Dunlop catalogue.
Thanks

Sorry buddy its taken me a while to reply but I have been on the road.

I knew you had said $180 for the Direzzas which is fine.......
I just wasn't sure if that price was for 225/45 R17s or for 235/45 R17s

If it's 225/45 R17s do you have 4 in stock at the moment?
Thanks heaps!

yep plenty in stock so whenever your ready just drop in.

btw i just replaced tyres on my sisters e46 3 series coupe, and even though we have all these brands in stock and on hand, i still went for the dunlop direzzas, so you know just because they are cheaper, doesnt mean they are not great tyres!

BTW Yes the dunlop are good tyres, better than the kumho.

Hi there,
I know this post below was a few months back but $145 is a sensational price.

Thanks anyways guys, being a budget i had the Kumho in sight, so i went it to get the Kumho Ku31.

As soon as i got there, the guy agreed but recommended the Dunlops, which i didn't even read up on. He gave it to me for $145 a corner for 225/45R17.

They were the Dunlop Direzza DZ101.

I bought them, and just hoping i made the right decision.

BTW, does anyone know the recommended psi for these tyres of this size? Cause it seems a bit hard on the road.

You are currently quoting $180 which I thought was pretty good.
Cheers

Hey Mike, bit of a mix up, i never actually quoted 145, it has always been $180 , the 145 may have been for the 215.

Hey there,
No worries if $180 or $185 with Visa is the best you can do that'll have to do.

I didn't get a chance to call in last week but tomorrow (Friday Aug 1st) is looking good right now.

Do you have 4 x 225/45 R 17s Dunlop Direzza DZ101s in stock? I would try to get there about 10.30am to get them fitted if that's ok?

Do you do wheel alignments and if so what is the price if I get it done while I'm there?

Thanks heaps,
Mike

Hi Ali,
Came in Friday and got the 4 x 225/45 R17 Dunlop Direzza DZ 101s and a front and rear wheel alignment. Very happy with the tyres after 200 or so ks only. They are quiet on the road and the grip in the wet is great.
Thanks heaps

this may be off topic but, what specs are the standard rims for an accord NON-Euro v6? which ones would have a solid side wall as im looking at throwing it around the track this weekend.
