hey people,

still doing heaps of research on the topic... and found that turboing the f22 is for me (low compression ratio).
i'm thinking of turboing my cd5 accord non vtec and sourcing the kit from the US. are the f22b2 engine from the US any different from australia?
http://www.turbo-kits.com/accord_turbo_kits.html

it'll be on stock internals for now and when i have more money ill rebuild the engine and run higher boost.

would anybody know of any kits available in australia?
anybody know who would install this kit for me (im in brisbane).

i'm thinking of hondata for the fuel managment. anyone have any other suggestions?

yeh, but i've been reading the forums on the US and have heard that the f22 have stronger internals (therefore allowing more boost)... not sure though. the h22 would be the more expensive option.

im thinking of spending around 10k for the turbo and rebuild.

soundz good but yea it does have stronger stock internals but if a rebuild is in
the works most people would rather do it to the h22

but im with u man if u get the project happening i might do the same some time,
and yea our engines do comfortably run 6psi to 8psi on stock internals straight up

doing more reading, what do you think about the jdm f22b DOHC non vtec? its got 160hp. would the aftermarket parts for this engine would be more readily available?

it appeals to me coz it's more cheaper than the h22a and the bottom end is still an f series.
