ed.. putting ek sideskirts ?

does anyone know how to put the ek sideskirts onto ed ?:S what do i do ?

Not 100% on this as Ive never done it but i'd say that a pair from a hatch will be basically a swap on affair if they are the same length (not sure but, i'd say so).

If you get a sedan set for your hatch (which i presume you have) they will require cutting for the right length.

Once thats sorted i would tape the skirt to the sill on the best position etc,
then its just a matter of drilling some holes, then using screws, rivets or cable ties to support it & your done.

i got mine off a ek hatch and its 2m like wtf ? the ed is about 1.8m n i dont wanna drill ne holes onto the car . is there any specific double sidede tape i can get to stick them on ? whould u know ne in particular n where to buy them ?

I don"t think double sided tape will cut it.

You could give sikaflex a go?

my mate held his front lip with just the brand "3m" double sided tape.

is does after a while.. used double side tape for 2-3 days and my front lip fell off, lucky it's the flexible plastic type.

i am pretty sure u shorten the skirt and drill holes in it to suit your Ed. You should drill the skirts NOT the car and i doubt any double sided tape wil hold up to highway driving or speedbump torture.

I think if you take your ED skirts off and sit it next to your EK skirts you will be able to seee were to drill and how much to shorten. i have seen them on EDs and imo it looks nice :thumbsup:
