INTEGRA DA9 TICKING (tick,tick,tick) noise

hey guys last nite i was driving and i speeded upto about 140km... and then in my left wheel area it started clicking noise.. does ne1 know what that culd be?
it was pretty loud.. and now if i drive it clicks to how fast i drive now..

hmn ive had two different clicking noises in mine one from the same area as you it was the cv joints but it would only do it when turning and not accelerating

and the other was in time with the revs and came from the block which was when i did the big end bearing

yeh not the revs... its when i drive... and the right wheel cv joint only ticks when cornering.. but this is different..

i have an issue where even in stationary my car creaks as i turn the steering wheel (to the right) cant be the sussy, anyone?

If I get a dcent size rock or something similar in my tyres I often get that.

check if your lug nuts are torqued up right it happen to me once and had to replace my stud bolts

yep check ur lugs to see if thery are tightened but also check the hub for freeplay

hey ricky martin.. didnt ask for your smart ass comment. i was saying how it happened. i wasnt dragging, just an urge i had to do.

neway i found out what it was.. i looked at my tyre and it was split on the inside and the wires were showing and snapping.. i have had tyre blow outs n never heard sounds like this...

wasnt that low. dont have tyres nemore. got them changed today

Going 140kph doesn't mean you are street racing. On some days you can go down the F3 at that speed and be overtaken consistently. I've been in a pack of cars going that fast overtaking a police vehicle - granted it was towing horses :D

its ur speedo cable - its just dry as a bone, grease it, it probably hasnt been greased since new.

no no no. man did you read. it was my tryes. they peeled apart. and tyre was hanging. and flicking.
