Seems like your plug going to the VSS mounted ontop of your gearbox has come loose.check it out on the top rear of gearbox.

Or maybe the whole VSS has come loose from the gearbox, make sure its bolted down tight.

Try disconnecting the plug from the VSS & make sure the contacts are clean & not corroded, spray with some contact cleaner.

Then make sure the plug is good in the back of the cluster.

try check to see that the plugs at the back of your cluster have not worked their way loose, otherwise i think it might be a faulty cluster

I've checked the connector behind the cluster....all good...and even I've tried using another cluster (my friend's) and still the same. the trip, oddo and speed aren't working.

I'll give it a go later...coz the vss is kinda deep under..hauhauha..I have to wait for the engine to cool down OR might try to unplug it from the bottom....
