Hi,

Bought this from ebay a while ago. Tried to install it myself recently and found a problem.

Here's what comes with the package:
http://img122.imageshack.us/img122/9560/img1034ns6.th.jpg (http://img122.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img1034ns6.jpg)

Here's the connector where I don't know where to connect it to:
http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/9228/img1035kn8.th.jpg (http://img72.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img1035kn8.jpg)

What the instruction said:
- Connect the 4 black quick-release fittings from the gauge panels to the supplied black inverter box.
- Connect the black wire (-) to a ground location and connect the red wire (+) to the parking light switch.
- Connect the controller switch (4 prong) to the inverter box. Make sure the corresponding "orange dots" are facing the same side. Re-install the gauge cluster and make the controller accessible.

Does anyone know if I'm missing something from the package?
Is there anyone using this product?

Thanks,
Steven

You need the black box which is the inverter, to connect the wires up to

Yes, you are missing inverter. I was going to get those ones but gave up as they have MP/H readings and KM/H readings are not as accurate (really small)..

They should have sent inverter with the package, if you have not received it contact them back.

Cheers.

Have you installed them as yet? Post some pics once you are done as I am interesting in installing them as well.

Cheers

Nope, still waiting for the seller to send the inverter to me.
Once I got it, I'll install it and yes, I'll try to shoot some pictures.

ive installed these guages on my car.... theyre from america yeh ...

welll .... be prepared to modify them a little ... coz some of the screw holes dont line up.... u gana need to punch new holes in them... you will also need to bend the edges where the wires connect as they overlap the gauges.

i stuffed mine up a little bit and will need to do them again , but they still work. They look nuts at night !!!
you need to be REALLY careful when u put them in.

it took me 2 hours just fit these guages properly into the clusted. if you live in melb woulb be happy to help you install them .

will do asap ....

must admit they look crazii and well worth the effort....

im buying another pair soon to fix mine up.... will take progressive pictures to show how its done .... just need some time ... uni is very time consuming.

taking out the cluster isnt easy either... you can break shit really easily if u dont know what ur doin ...

thankfully i didnt thanks to a trusty resource i have ... cough cough :)

They look great but wouldn't they look better if you had two lights (bulbs) turned off as illumination would look even better? Is it hard to see the speed needle as it is not illuminated...Try maybe to paint it with some florescent colour?!

i kept the illumination lights coz i have placed an aluminium face plate over the black plastic....

turning them off is simple... all u need to do is connect a switch to them once you have pulled the cluster out. then you have the option of having them on or off.....

looks good either way. in real life the needles are crystal clear , even at night. if anyone has trouble installing these let me know , i would be happy to help.

cheers.
