Hey everyone, i nearly finished building my na b18c2 and am just wondering what is a good oil pump on the market that will allow me to rev safely around or over the 9000k mark.
Thanks

If you're going to sustain 9000+rpm,
It's a good idea to use a heavy duty oil pump gear.
There's no advantage in oil pressure or volume, just insurance for your engine.
The factory oil pump gear is produced from a sintered material & prone to fracture at high rpm. (Mainly in the outer ring, due to torsional vibration)
Idealy you'd use a heavy duty pump gear (machined from billet) together with an ATI or Fluidamper.

we have plenty of guys here pulling those revs with standard new OEM oil pumps, i think youd best spend ur money ensuring u have baffled sump setup first, even if u just get Toda gears on a stock pump you should be fine, wat are you trying to achieve? power wise and setup wise? track dutys or drag?

track/drag, hi comp pistons, cams, intake, JG port polish, stroked, bored, sleeved, full valvetrain.
Any ecu opinions for my build???

theres a place past armadale that does hondata..
Check hondatech forum for details..
I just use a powerFC straight PnP, speedworks if they are still open has the software to tune on the laptop as well..
If not cypher will tune with hand controller, xspeed, hyperdrive ect
What results you expecting from your build??
